Senior Radiographer

Overall job purpose: To undertake radiographic and imaging examinations as required. To take part in on-call service as required. To safely deliver a service ensuring that the three principles of radiation protection (justification, optimisation and dose constraints/limits) are adhered to.
The candidate: have the diploma of the College of Radiographers (diagnostic) or have a Bachelor of Science or its equivalent (diagnostic radiography)CORU registrationminimum of 3 years post qualification experience in a broad range of examinationsdemonstrate experience of working with a team of radiographershave proven ability to work under pressureexcellent interpersonal and communication skillsevidence of continuing professional developmenthave a high capacity for responsibility and individual initiativeflexibility in role and take on additional duties as requiredBlackrock Health at The Galway Clinic is an equal opportunities employer
