Senior Radiographer

  We are hiring a  Senior Radiographer in  a Private Hospital in Cork, Ireland.
Key Responsibilities  Undertake radiographic and imaging examinations as required by the Department of Radiology.
 Organise the imaging of patients in the Diagnostic Imaging Department Undertake training as required for new Radiographers, student Radiographers, trainee Radiologists, etc.
Manage, participate, and play a role in the practice education of students Radiographers Participate in training new members of staff in equipment and department protocols.  Ensure patient comfort while in the Diagnostic Imaging Department, explaining procedures, waiting times, etc.  Review radiology requests for correct ordering details e.g.
LMP hazards, and clinical details.
Requirements CORU Registration Relevant Radiography Experience RPO qualification or willingness to undertake Excellent Communication Skills Commitment and understanding the importance of quality and safety Prioritising a high standard of patient care at all times is at the core of our Company Benefits   Education Assistance programme.
