Located in Dublin, Cruiserath Biologics Campus, a one billion Multi-Product Cell Culture Biologics Manufacturing facility plays a central role in the Global Product Development and Supply (GPS) network as the company's first European biologics manufacturing facility. This state of the art facility will produce multiple therapies for the company's growing biologics portfolio. Global Biologics Laboratory (GBL) responsible for the release testing of Biologics Drug product for the network, is also based on the Cruiserath Biologics Campus.

The Role

BMSCruiserathBiologicsisseekinganexperiencedEngineeringprofessionalto join theDrugProductmaintenanceteam.Reportingto theManager,DrugProductMaintenance,theSeniorShiftTechnicianwillassistindeliveringasafeworkingenvironmentforourcolleaguesandareliableplanttoensurecontinuityofsupplyofmedicinesfor ourpatients.

TheSeniorShiftTechnicianwillbetaskedwithinitiallysupporting thefacilityduringprojectphase,supportingequipmentinstallationandcommissioning-frominitialspecificationstofinalhandover.Supportwilltransitionfromprojectphasetooperationalphasetoensureasuccessfulstartupandcommercializationofthefacility,includingGMPreadinessandNewProductIntroductions.

TheMaintenanceteamswillalsofocusoncomplyingwithgoodengineeringpractices,companypolicies,regulations,andcodes.

TheSeniorShiftTechnicianwillalsosupporttheirmanagerinensuringthattheDrugProductMaintenanceteamsobjectivesarealignedwiththewiderEngineeringandSiteObjectives.Theywillbepartofa multi-functionalteamchargedwithcommissioningofthesignificantcapitalinvestmentanduponcompletionoftheproject,theywillsupportthesustainingoperationonsite.
This position will beinitially on days but will move through various shift patterns as the project progresses to full commercial manufacture.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Workwiththeproject&CQVteamtofacilitatedelivery,validation,andsafeoperationofequipmentassociatedwith Vial/Syringe fillingandinspection.
Ensureanymaintenanceandcalibration activitiesareexecutedincompliancewithallRegulatoryrequirementsincludingQuality(cGDP/GMP's),EHS,GlobalEngineeringprocedures,as well as allLocalRegulatoryrequirements.
Understandand interpret P&IDs,equipment/systemlayouts,wiringdiagrams,andspecificationsinplanning andperformingmaintenanceandrepairs.
Useyourknowledgeofsterilefill/finishprocessequipmenttosupportManufacturing,Quality,Automation,Validation,andEHSfordeviationinvestigation,changecontrols,andCAPA's.
Be the point of contact for the self-managed technician shift team. Providing a clear line of communication to the Maintenance Manager through covering key areas of Safety/Quality/Downtime/Delivery & People.
Liaise with Manufacturing Shift Leads and respective Senior Shift Technicians to pull together summary at the end of shift. This role requires the Senior Shift Technician to facilitate handovers.

Operating to and maintaining dynamic schedules - management of any changes to work plan through prioritization and managing last minute unforeseen changes to the plan.
ManageCMMSworkrequests/workorders, includinggeneration, processing,trackingandfollow-up.EnsuringallWorkOrders arecompletedontimeandinasafeandcompliantmanner,andassetmanagementdataiscapturedaccurately.
Assistinadvancedtroubleshooting,andrepairofequipmentandsystems.Including,butnotlimitedto,diagnosisandfault-findingofautomationandcontrols.
Respondpromptlyandappropriatelytoanyequipment failures/issuesthatmayarise andprovide guidanceandsolutionsfor preventativeactionwhererequired.
Executeplannedmaintenance routinesincluding predictive, preventative andcalibrationactivities.
UnderstandandimplementHSAandSafetyrequirementsofMaintenanceteamsandhowtheyapplyinnormalsustainingoperationsormajorshutdown/overhaulsituations.
CollaboratewithkeystakeholderssuchasManufacturingOperations,ManufacturingPlannersandEHS.
Workwith Qualityteamensuring the teamsupportalldeviations,change controlsCAPA'sinatimelymanner.
WorkwiththeEHSteamto ensureSafetyrelatedInvestigationsandCAPAs are closedontimeandwithcorrectengineeringrigorapplied.
WorkwiththeMaintenanceManagerto ensuretheProductionPlanningscheduleiscognizantofthemaintenancerequirementsintheshort,mediumandlong-term,ensuringmajormaintenancedrivenequipmentoutages arefactoredintothesitelongrangeplanning.
Worktomeetsitemetricsreflectiveofteam'sperformance andequipment reliability.
ChampionasafetyculturewithintheMaintenanceteam.

Driving and promoting Good Manufacturing Practices, Good Documentation Practices, and adherence with Standard Operating Procedures across the team.
AssisttheMaintenanceManagerwithanyothermaintenanceworkasperthebusinessneeds,includingbutnotlimitedtodevelopmentoftrainingmaterials,vendormanagement,andothercontinuousimprovementactivities.
Drive and participate in reliability initiatives: Continuous Improvement (CI) projects, Support Toolbox Talks, Predictive Maintenance, Failure Codes, Surface Imperfection, gasket management, correct torquing, spare parts, etc.
Training, coaching and development of other technicians on key tasks such as On-The-Job Training (OJT) on Lockout Tagout (LOTO) /Soft Parts Change Out (SPCO)/Calibrations and upskilling on complex work order execution activities.

Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills Required:
Required
Amulti-skilledindividualwithcraftqualificationinElectrical,Instrumentorcombinedtrades.
Experiencewithasitestart upandhandoverfromCQVtoSustainingOperations,fromamaintenanceperspective.
Experienceina regulatedbiopharmaceutical,pharmaceutical,medicaldevice,facilitiesmaintenanceorFMCGfacilityisrequired.
Provenabilitytoprioritizemaintenanceactivitiesandresourcestoachieveasafeandreliablesite.
ExperienceofoperatingandfaultfindingPLCbasedcontrolsystems.
Demonstratedabilitytoinfluenceworkcrossfunctionallyinamatrixenvironmentduringstartupandintocommercialmanufacture.
Excellentcommunication skillsandtheabilitytoworkaspartofamulti-disciplined,crossfunctionalteam.
Highlevelofattentiontodetailinfollowingproceduresandmust beflexible andopen tochange.
Experiencemaintainingcomplex equipmentinfastpacedenvironment.
Demonstratedexperienceandabilitytoeffectivelymanagestakeholders.
