Role Location: Dublin Role Overview: As a Senior Site Engineer, you will be responsible for managing site operations, ensuring that all project objectives are met on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
You'll work closely with the Project Manager and Site Manager, while leading site teams and coordinating subcontractors.
Your leadership and problem-solving skills will be key to driving project success.
Key Responsibilities: Team & Contractor Management: Lead and manage site staff and subcontractors, ensuring efficient workflows and high-quality output.
Design & Cost Optimization: Recommend design modifications that enhance construction efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure top-tier project completion.
Project Coordination: Collaborate with the Project Manager, QS, Contracts Manager, Site Engineers, and Services Coordinator to ensure accurate and timely information is available to all stakeholders.
Quality Control: Oversee construction activities, ensuring compliance with workmanship standards and material quality requirements.
Compliance & Technical Review: Ensure all work aligns with drawings, specifications, building regulations, and construction best practices.
Address any discrepancies by promptly communicating with the design team.
Resource Management: Determine project resource needs and assist the project team in meeting those requirements.
SHEQ Procedures: Implement and enforce site safety, health, environmental, and quality procedures in line with company standards.
Progress Reporting: Provide regular updates to the project management team, including detailed weekly and monthly reports on program status, subcontractor performance, and any emerging risks.
What We're Looking For: Extensive experience in a senior site engineering role, ideally within the construction industry.
Proven leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage site teams and subcontractors.
Deep understanding of construction methodologies, site management, and design coordination.
Strong commercial awareness and the ability to work closely with the QS and project team to meet company objectives.
Thorough knowledge of drawings, specifications, building regulations, and industry best practices.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
