We are proud to be launching a new state-of-the-art technology facility in Dublin, Ireland. The Dublin-based team will play a critical role in our continued digital transformation and will function as a center of excellence for SiriusXM's global Product and Technology organization.
SiriusXM's new Dublin facility will comprise a workforce primarily focused on software development, automotive technology and engineering, AdTech, data science, and analytics. Talent based in the new technology hub will be charged with developing and implementing best-in-class standards for high-quality, scalable software deliveries for SiriusXM's streaming and in-vehicle audio entertainment platforms.
What you'll do: The Senior Software Test Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing and executing test procedures to ensure that software programs work as intended. This position will be a part of the software development team. The successful candidate will have the ability to work in a cooperative manner with software engineers, product and program managers.Work with software engineers, program managers, requirements managers, and other product stakeholders to understand product features and the complete set of requirements to the software.Assist in the development of end-to-end automated & manual test cases.Work closely with development teams to ensure the effectiveness and quality of the components and systems developed.Develop, maintain and execute test cases, ensuring the quality and stability of the system throughout the project.Generate testing completion metrics and analysis, as well as status read-outs to upper management.Develop, implement, maintain, and enhance test plans, test scripts, traceability matrices, and test methodologies that ensure exhaustive testing of all assigned software systems to ensure compliance with software/system specifications.Anticipate potential software problems by creating test scenarios.What you'll need: BS Engineering or SW Engineering, Computer Science, computer Engineering or equivalent experience required. MS Engineering is desired.3-5+ years' experience with Test Development and Environments.Experience in Automotive Software development.Experience in Automotive Frameworks.Experienced in Automotive Client Application.Experienced in Tools for test development.Experience in test automation.Application of software development life cycle concept.Knowledge and application of at least one programming language.The requirements and duties described above may be modified or waived by the Company in its sole discretion without notice.
