They work closely with Sales and Customer teams to understand customer needs, map outcomes, demonstrate the value of EcoOnline Solutions, close deals and retain customers.
This role is perfect for a highly skilled professional who excels in communicating tailored solutions, leading complex sales engagements, and mentoring others.
Responsibilities As a Snr Generalist Solutions Consultant, you will maintain a broad understanding of our solution suite (8-10 core solutions and platform), across EHS, Chemical Safety and ESG.
You will be supported by Specialist Solution Consultants as required.
You will support a 'joint partnership' approach with Sales and Customer Success functions, with a focus on achieving defined revenue goals.
Key responsibilities include: Customer Engagement: Engage with potential customers to understand their business needs and identify suitable solutions from our portfolio.
Discovery: Conduct deep level discovery workshops to gather customer requirements, outcomes and support a value led sales process.
Tailored Demonstrations: Deliver highly engaging, tailored demonstrations and presentations, centred on customer value and outcomes, showcasing the capabilities and benefits of EcoOnline's solutions.
Bid Team Support: Assist the bid team in responding to PQQs, RFPs and RFIs with relevant solution information.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the sales, customer success, marketing, and product teams to ensure a seamless customer experience, effective deal closures, pipeline generation and solution insights.
Market Knowledge: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and competitive landscape to effectively position our solutions.
Video Content Skills: Design, creation and refinement of video content used in our demo automation platform.
As a senior member of the Solutions Consulting team, you will also be expected to act as: Professional Skills Exemplar: Act as an expert on the 'science of solutions consulting', supporting a culture of best practice and continuous improvement.
Independent expert: Ability to work, independently, on the largest and most complex deals and customer accounts.
Mentor to junior colleagues: Act as a mentor and coach to more junior team members, also providing training and onboarding support as required.
Qualifications Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in solutions consulting, pre-sales, sales engineering No previous staff management experience needed for this role, but experience mentoring junior staff is prefered.
Ideally degree educated, or equivalent work experience Solutions Consulting/Pre-Sales SaaS Sales and Customer Success Ideally experienced within the EHSQ, ESG or Chemical Safety sector Must have prior experience working in a high performing solutions consulting team at a senior level Strong and demonstrable track record of success in achieving defined revenue targets Comfortable and experienced in dealing with senior or C -suite stakeholders Ability to travel where relevant (visiting potential clients, internal/external events etc.)
