We have got a fantastic opportunity for a Sous Chef to join the kitchen team in this beautiful hotel located in Co Mayo Some of the duties of the role will be: Working alongside the Head Chef on the day to day operations of the kitchen Deputising for the Head Chef when needed Ensuring the hygiene and HACCP practices are kept to the highest levels Kitchen management Can lead by example but also be able to delegate to junior chefs Ensure a healthy working environment for chefs and be a strong role model and mentor Understanding of all financial targets (GP, payroll, costs etc) Ensure efficient, top quality food preparation and waste management The Ideal Person: Currently working as a Sous Chef/Head Chef in a busy hotel or restaurant environment Excellent team leadership skills Great communicator and has an excellent personality Be on top of industry trends Works well with kitchen staff and other staff members and managers throughout the hotel Has a passion for cooking high end food in a timely manner Can legally work in Ireland on a fulltime basis What can we offer?
