Who We Are Community Healthcare Organisation 1 Donegal provides a broad range of services which includes Primary Care, Social Inclusion, Social Care, Mental Health and Health & Wellbeing Services.
These services are delivered through the HSE and its funded agencies to people in local communities, as close as possible to peoples homes.
The HR Department is responsible for the delivery and implementation of a range of generalist HR services within CHO1 Donegal and the provision of advice and guidance on HR issues in order to support the CHO in the achievement of its business objectives.
HR provides support and guidance to CHO1 staff and managers, to include matters relating but not exclusive to recruitment and selection, contracts, remuneration, grievances and other HR / Industrial Relation matters.
The HR Department for Donegal provides HR support to approximately 3,400 staff.
Description Eligible applicants will be those who on the closing date for the competition: 1.
Statutory Registration, Professional Qualifications, Experience, etc (a) Candidates for appointment must: (i) Be registered, or be eligible for registration, as a Speech & Language Therapist by the Speech & Language Therapists Registration Board at CORU.
AND (ii) Have 3 years full time (or an aggregate of 3 years full time) post qualification clinical experience.
AND (jii) Candidates must have the requisite knowledge and ability (including a high standard of suitability and professional ability) for the proper discharge of the duties of the office.AND (iv) Provide proof of Statutory Registration on the Speech & Language Therapist Register maintained by the Speech & Language Therapists Registration Board at CORU before a contract of employment can be issued.

Annual registration (i) On appointment, practitioners must maintain annual registration on the Speech & Language Therapists Register maintained by the Speech & Language Therapists Registration Board at CORU.AND (ii) Practitioners must confirm annual registration with CORU to the HSE by way of the annual Patient Safety Assurance Certificate (PSAC).
Post Specific Requirements Feeding, Eating, Drinking and Swallowing/ Dysphagia qualification mandatory.
