You will work as a Principal Engineer in our Automotive Microcontroller central infrastructure IP development group.
You will join a team of Concept Engineers to promote novel device architectures from translating customer requirements into functional specifications.
You will also drive the realization throughout all development stages.

You will as well consider functional safety and production related aspects.
Break down stakeholder and product requirements to hardware and softwarerequirements and define implementable solutions fulfilling those requirements.
Own and create the technical documentations (like user manuals or data sheets) in line with our internal document creation process.
You also ensure to provide material to allow your safety architect colleagues to deliver the various work products to guarantee the ISO 26262 compliance.
Network cross-functionally with cluster architects, system engineers, application engineers, functional safety experts, design, verification and validation teams within and beyond your business unit to promote your state-of-the-art development strategy Perform technical risk management across IP, subsystem and SoC hierarchies based on key knowledge of technical challenges and development constraints.
Work in an international multi-site set up, collaborating with cross-functional teams.You are best equipped for this task if you have:A degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics or a related technical field.
At least 6 years of relevant working experience in chip architecture, design or related fields.
Deep knowledge in design and implementation of central microcontroller infrastructure IPs: Clock, Reset, DFX.
Deep Microcontroller knowledge and automotive application knowhow.
Very good knowledge about functional safety standards and applications ISO 26262 or FMEDA.
Experience in writing User Manuals and define Datasheet values beneficial.
Working experience in international and cross-functional technical teams within a multi-cultural environment.
