We are currently looking for a Senior Strategic Business Analyst to join our Strategy Execution Office. Reporting to the Head of Strategic Programmes.
What you will help us to achieveThe Senior Strategic Business Analyst will have responsibility for the following:
• Contribute to and help structure the creation of strategies across the group by:
• Owning the creation of regular strategy programme reporting into Irish Life group's senior leadership team, including collation from and challenge back to business areas, as well as insights and presentation to leadership
• Coordination of existing strategic research into coherent insights for management action
• Conducting primary research into topics of strategic importance to Irish Life group
• Providing external challenge and support to business areas in addressing strategic and business questions
• Aiding senior leadership's understanding and insight into major external and internal trends pertinent to business performance and strategy
The role will require:
• Taking full end to end responsibility for scoping, completion, synthesis and presentation of research reports to senior leadership, with guidance from SEO management
• Taking full end to end responsibility for the delivery of projects, including management of project budgets and deliverables
• Stakeholder management, including at a senior level and with certain external partners, as well as strong commercial and strategic perspectives
What you will need to be successful in the roleThe ideal candidate will have:
• Business related Degree or equivalent strong relevant business experience.
• 3+ years corporate strategy experience / management consulting experience
• Proven ability to manage multi-disciplined projects across different system platforms
• Expert analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills.
• Expert organisational skills with the ability to prioritise across multiple tasks to tight timelines and to coordinate cross teamwork.
• Expert communication, technical writing and influencing skills.
• Expert at identifying requirements across multi –platforms using appropriate methodologies.
