We are looking for an experienced, customer-focused and results-oriented Snr Supply Chain Manager to join the EU Consumables business.
This role can be based in one of our offices in Munich, London, Paris, Milan, Madrid, or Luxembourg.
As a Sr. Strategic Supply Chain Manager, you will work at the interface between Operations, Supply Chain Tech teams, Amazon's Vendors, and customers to lead projects that unlock P&L efficiencies, reduce overall cost to serve, and drive short and long-term initiatives to improve the end-to-end supply chain.
You will be responsible for defining and executing a Strategic Supply Chain Roadmap with some of our biggest brands within EU Consumables, partnering with Brand Specialists to maximize product availability, optimize the supply chain setup of the vendor, and drive operational process improvements.
Successful candidates will be those able to prioritize well, communicate clearly, and have a consistent track record of delivering results.
They should also have a strong customer obsession, the ability to dive deep, superb data/analytical skills, a self-starter spirit, and experience working with cross-functional teams.
This role will require close collaboration externally with vendors and internally with operations, technology, and finance teams.
Key Job ResponsibilitiesLead cross-functional strategic initiatives to improve customer availability, increase inventory efficiency, eliminate supply chain defects, or drive adoption of automated tools/processes within EU Consumables.Analyze data to understand key drivers for supply-chain cost and identify recommendations and actions based on these findings.Own E2E vendor engagements within EU Consumables, working with commercial counterparts, central project teams, and vendors to define E2E supply chain improvement goals and drive their achievements.BASIC QUALIFICATIONSUniversity degree in Business or a Supply Chain discipline, or similar degree with analytical bias.Years of experience in inventory planning, operations, retail, consulting, and/or finance, with a history of owning/driving results.Proven track record of managing and executing large projects from start to finish, including project management, data gathering and modeling, problem-solving, and communicating recommendations.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSAnalytical skills, capable of turning raw data into information and insights.Preferred university degree in Business or a Supply Chain discipline, or similar degree with analytical bias.Team-oriented with strong written and oral communication skills, able to effectively manage multiple projects with a high degree of accuracy and meet demanding timelines.Ability to work independently, strong attention to detail, and a passion for driving process improvement.Background in delivering cost-savings through operational improvements in supply-chain or ordering processes.Ability to influence and inspire action in others, with or without a direct reporting line.Amazon is an equal opportunities employer.
