Our client is actively seeking a Senior Sustainability Engineer to join their expanding team in Swords. Working alongside a highly skilled MEP team, you will play a key role in shaping sustainable design practices across a variety of high-impact projects. You will be coming in to lead sustainability initiatives across multiple projects, from feasibility through to detailed design, in collaboration with the MEP team, ensuring designs adhere to regulatory and environmental standards, as well as industry best practices in energy efficiency, carbon reduction, and sustainable design.
There will be great opportunities to develop and implement new approaches to improve energy efficiency and sustainable practices, contributing to the consultancy's ongoing commitment to environmental leadership, whilst working closely with MEP, architectural, and other engineering teams, providing expert input on sustainable solutions and integrated design approaches.
To be considered for this role, you should have:
Degree in Sustainability Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.Minimum of 7 years' experience in sustainability or environmental engineering, preferably within a design consultancy environment.Expertise in sustainable building certifications (such as LEED, BREEAM, or WELL) and knowledge of energy modeling software.Familiarity with MEP design integration and a solid understanding of environmental compliance standards within Ireland and the UK.Strong project management and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across disciplines.
