We are proud to be launching a new state-of-the-art technology facility in Dublin, Ireland, focusing on software development, automotive technology, engineering, AdTech, data science, and analytics.
What you'll do: Ensure deliverables and releases for software in the SiriusXM Automotive marketplace.Align development roadmaps for multiple software programs with organizational goals.Promote a culture of transparency and accountability within the Software Technical Program Management team.Facilitate development processes for stakeholders of the software team.Negotiate and resolve conflicts to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.Increase coordination and foster efficient collaboration among teams.Identify solutions to complex problems and drive continuous improvement.Serve as a problem solver and provide expertise and insights.Create new tools and metrics to capture the software team's development capabilities.Identify and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle.Support software maintenance of legacy Automotive programs.Drive strategic visions into results for the software team.Prioritize customer needs while meeting program milestones.Ensure Software Development schedules integrate into the SXM new product development process.Oversee scoping of new software work and ensure timely releases.Work with customers on technology integration.Implement best practices in software deliverables.Apply data analytics to quantify process improvements.What you'll need: B.S. in Engineering, Engineering Management, or equivalent experience.5+ years of expertise in software programs and project management for automotive and consumer electronic products.Experience with Agile methodology, including Kanban.SAFe knowledge and certification is a plus.Knowledge of Consumer/Automotive Cyber Security is a plus.Minimum 4 years of experience in software process improvement initiatives.Extensive experience with all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle.Experience with Automotive Programs, Satellite module test, and Satellite middleware.Experience in a matrix environment, coordinating activities across multiple teams.Experience with Jira, Jama, change management tools, and test tools.Proficiency in SQL, Tableau, and Microsoft Excel; experience with Python or other programming languages is a plus.Experience with testing methodologies and Software Release Management.Familiarity in one or more of the following areas: Android, AAOS, Linux, Consumer Streaming applications, Satellite receivers, Automotive audio and infotainment products, Digital communications, Internet Protocol products and technology.Our goal at SiriusXM is to provide and maintain a work environment that fosters mutual respect, professionalism, and cooperation.
