Senior Transport Coordinator In Ballyboghil, Co. Dublin

Job Description; Flexsource are currently recruiting an exciting new role for our Client, global logistics network who provides end-to-end supply chain solutions.
My Client requires a Senior Transport Coordinator to join their team, to manage, support and guide the operation on all transport and warehouse activities across the UK and Ireland.
The ideal candidate for this role will have minimum 2 years experience in working in a transport and warehouse department, day-to-day planning with the warehouse management team around resources / training / maintenance of equipment and Health and safety.
Key Responsibilities; Manage all daily operations and administration activities of the road freight, warehouse and the transport department, including driver de-brief.
Monitoring the planning process and vehicle utilisation, trunking performance and load planning to manage costs and maintain service levels.
Monitor and deal with transport queries to ensure all collections are completed and closed, by liaising with other depots and departments.
Manage the loading and offloading process in line with schedule and ferry sailings times.
Ensure the warehouse and yards housekeeping is kept to high standard.
Any further ad hoc duties as required.
Key Requirements; A minimum 2 Years experience of working within transport planning and warehouse operations Good customer interpersonal skills are an essential part of this role Experience of using various Web systems & Microsoft Office Packages Flexible and open to shift change when necessary Forklift experience is essential VNA/Shunter experience would be an advantage Hours; Monday to Friday Shift Times 14:00 23:00 Every fourth Saturday 6:30 finish Pay; Negotiable Please contact Anna via mail application at anna.stry or please call for more information.
