In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities within the warehouse, ensuring efficiency, safety, and high standards in all operations.
You will play a key role in managing inventory, coordinating with logistics, and supervising a team of dedicated operatives.

Responsibilities: Oversee and manage daily warehouse operations, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
Operate the counterbalance forklift to safely move, stack, and organise products within the warehouse.
Supervise and provide mentorship to junior warehouse staff, offering guidance and training as needed.
Maintain accurate inventory records and manage stock levels effectively to ensure seamless operations.
Collaborate with the logistics team to coordinate the timely dispatch and receipt of goods.
Uphold health and safety regulations, promoting a safe and compliant working environment.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of warehouse processes and procedures.
Requirements: Demonstrated experience in a similar warehouse operative role, ideally in a senior or supervisory position.
Valid counterbalance forklift certificate is mandatory.
Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems and inventory control.
Excellent organisational skills and keen attention to detail.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Effective communication skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
Familiarity with health and safety regulations within a warehouse setting.
Willingness to work Mon to Fri 09:00 17:30, including Saturdays if required.
