Server Infrastructure Engineer

Server Infrastructure Engineer Bring your expertise in Windows server environments and a proactive attitude and join a dynamic team based in Galway.

Responsibilities Planning, configuring, and managing Windows environments, including Azure & AD.
Lead migration projects for SQL server databases and oversee the Microsoft Azure cloud environment, ensuring security and performance.
Collaborate with end users and third-party suppliers to maintain system stability.
Ensure smooth operations and support team members as needed.
Requirements:

Minimum 5 years of experience in building and migrating Windows Server environments
ICT-related degree or qualification (MCSA/MCSE preferred)
Proficiency in Hypervisor Platforms (HyperV), SQL server installations (MSSQL), and firewalls/routers (Cisco, Palo Alto)
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to take ownership of tasks
Excellent communication skills and a team player mentality
Flexibility to adapt to varying workloads and schedules
Desirable:

Familiarity with VDI/Citrix, Certificate Management, or related technologies
