Service Manager Job Description Join Manepa Medical as Service Manager.
Established in 1971, Manepa Medical is a well-recognised name in both the public and private healthcare markets.
The Service Manager is responsible for managing and supporting our team of field based Engineers.
This role includes overseeing service operations, ensuring customer satisfaction, and driving continuous improvement and departmental growth.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical support, customer interaction and team leadership.
Objectives & Responsibilities Manage the daily operations and schedules of the service and after-sales team.
Manage, review & issue existing & new S.L.A.
proposals and negotiate to successful completion.
Monitor, develop and grow existing customer base.
Manage team schedules to ensure adequate & efficient coverage and support.
Oversee the management of engineering equipment, spare parts and service inventory.
Develop and implement service policies and procedures to ensure high-quality customer support.
Coordinate with the service team to provide timely and effective service solutions.
Coordinate with logistics to ensure timely delivery of parts and equipment.
Coordinate with the sales team and logistics to ensure timely delivery, installation & commissioning of new equipment.
Monitor service communications/requests and ensure they are actioned promptly and satisfactorily.
Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for service quality and efficiency.
Implement continuous improvement initiatives based on feedback and performance data.
Work closely with the service team to provide comprehensive support and training as required.
Manage Engineering training matrix.
Conduct regular performance reviews and provide development opportunities.
Report regularly and as required to the management team & the Managing Director.
Skills and Qualifications Relevant Degree/Third Level qualification.
Mechanical and/or Electrical experience.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Proven ability to manage & exceed departmental/company targets.
Minimum 5 years experience in service management or similar role.
Exceptional communication & organisational skills to include experience in presenting & public speaking.
Technical knowledge of medical devices and equipment.
Proficiency in service management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Full clean driving license Benefits Base salary €55k+ Fully expensed company vehicle.
