Service Operations Manager - Westmeath

The Role My client, a well established car dealership is seeking an experienced Service Operations Manager to join their team based in Mullingar, Westmeath.
This is a full-time, permanent, on-site position.
As the Service Operations Manager, you will be responsible for managing the day to day operations of a busy service department, ensuring both efficient and profitable functioning, along with outstanding customer service.
Tasks & Duties To enhance departmental profitability through effective marketing and sales including cross-selling and up-selling products and services.
Ensure that the Service Department meets its target objectives through continuous monitoring of accounts, daily and weekly operational controls, system data, industry reports, publicly available information, and monthly manufacturer composite figures.
Ensure that appropriate measures are implemented in response to deviations from target goals or suspected inadequate performance.
Ensure precise recording of information including parts and service durations, job costing, and invoicing.
Ensure effective management of the premises, tools, equipment and other assets.
Review weekly sales ledger data to ensure prompt collection of all outstanding debts and address customer queries and concerns within 24 hours of their being raised.
Staff management including performance, 1:1's, training needs analysis, ensuring targets & KPIs are met and disciplinary meetings.
Experience, Knowledge and Qualifications Previous experience in a similar position.
Previous experience within a car dealership is desired.
Excellent leadership and management skills.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to work in a fast paced environment.
Knowledge of Keyloop/Drive is a distinct advantage.
Candidates must currently reside within a commutable distance with full working rights.
Full, clean drivers license is essential.
