Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor and working in an autonomous and responsible manner, the Maintenance Technician will ensure the safe, efficient and optimised running of Production machines.
Key duties and responsibilities may include: The provision of Technical support and the optimisation and maintenance of equipment.
Undertaking Format Changeover and reassembly while ensuring to minimise the time allocated to these changes.
Production optimisation and equipment uptime activities.
House and equipment keeping Quality compliance Ensuring safe working conditions for all.
Participating in new projects as required by your supervisor, in order to install, calibrate or upgrade machinery and equipment.
Accompanying and supervising external companies carrying out specific maintenance operations and using your know how to facilitate their work.
Take part in RCPS and customer complaint events The Continuous Improvement of our Equipment and Process.
Using the Computerised maintenance management system.
Initiating and undertaking preventive maintenance on Production equipment.
Check that the Production machinery operates correctly by performing running and safety checks.
Candidates should have completed a mechanical or electrical apprenticeship or equivalent and have experience of troubleshooting, repair, maintenance and improvement of electro-mechanical equipment in the pharmaceutical, chemical or food industries.
Desirable: Candidates have a qualification or experience/track record of continuous improvement techniques and TPEM.
