Shift Maintenance Fitter

Opportunity to join a well-established international hi-vol manufacturing facility.
Key Responsibilities: Machine fault finding, repair, and problem-solving.Hydraulics and pneumatic maintenance.Continuous improvement throughout the plant.Welding/fabrication maintenance.Perform repairs of all buildings and equipment.Perform preventive maintenance procedures on buildings and equipment on a scheduled basis; inspect, check, and replace e.g. bearings, seals, etc.Inspect boiler; treat water with proper chemicals.Calibrate and repair pneumatic systems.ExperienceIdeally, 2 years plus post-apprenticeship experience and willing to work a 4-cycle shift.
Mechanical fitter apprenticeship qualifications (MAMF) – necessity (machine shop experience).
Computer literacy; CMM, Computerised Maintenance Systems (SAP) is an advantage.
