About Our Client: Our client, a leading company based in Limerick, is seeking a skilled Shift Maintenance Fitter to join their team. This role involves ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of machinery and equipment during shift hours. Key Responsibilities: Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of machinery and equipment. Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime. Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues. Collaborate with production teams to support operational goals and ensure minimal disruption during shifts. Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation. Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency. Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns and perform corrective actions. Qualifications and Skills: Trade certification or relevant qualification in Mechanical Engineering. Proven experience as a Maintenance Fitter in an industrial or manufacturing setting. Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. Proficiency in reading technical drawings and schematics.
