About Our Client: Our client, a leading company based in Kildare, is seeking a skilled Shift Maintenance Technician to join their team. This role involves maintaining and repairing machinery and equipment to ensure efficient production operations during shift hours. Key Responsibilities: Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of machinery and equipment. Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime. Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues. Collaborate with production teams to support operational goals and ensure minimal disruption during shifts. Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation. Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations. Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns and perform corrective actions during shifts. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency. Qualifications and Skills: Trade certification or relevant qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician in an industrial or manufacturing setting. Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. Proficiency in reading technical drawings and schematics. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently. Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
