Wexford.General PurposeThis role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, where the successful candidate will be responsible for planning, organizing, and controlling production processes.
The goal is to ensure that goods are sorted, produced, and packed efficiently, on time, within budget, and in line with required standards, all while maintaining a safe and motivated work environment.
Additionally, the role involves analyzing and improving processes to enhance quality, productivity, and overall efficiency.The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing both human and material resources and will provide support to shift leaders, team leaders, and general operative staff.
The role requires someone who is innovative, quick-thinking, and able to effectively solve problems.Knowledge and SkillsCandidates should possess the following knowledge and skills:Production management expertiseFamiliarity with technical aspects of production processesExperience with managing high-level HR responsibilitiesStrong delegation skillsA solid understanding of Health & Safety legislation, policies, and proceduresStrong management and leadership capabilitiesEffective communication skills, both written and verbalProficiency in computer skills, particularly spreadsheets and word processing programsAnalytical and reporting abilitiesExcellent English language proficiencyQualifications and ExperienceThe ideal candidate will have:2+ years of experience in a management role with a sizeable team in a production environmentA third-level qualification in a related field (desirable)A high level of proficiency in Microsoft Suite applications
