What type of work will you be doing? What assignments, requirements, or skills will you be performing on a regular basis? The shipping Co Ordinator role includes the management and creation of shipping documentation, ensuring finished goods pallets are secure and labelled correctly, and overseeing and scheduling, picking and loading of products for distribution.
Responsibilities: Preparing and managing shipping documentationMaintaining records of all dispatched goodsScheduling of transport for shipmentsChecking completeness of shipments before dispatchReleasing pick lists to warehouse staffEnsure stock movements are maintained in SAPOverseeing the packing and loading of products to ensure they are properly secured for transportTracking shipments and communicating any delays or issuesEnsuring compliance with safety and legal guidelines, standards, and regulations in all shipping and transportation processesPerforming regular inventory cycle counts to ensure accuracyQualifications/experience: 3rd Level Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering or similar.Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role.Previous experience in warehouse/shipping operations.Strong organisational and communication skills.Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite.SAP experience preferred but not essential.What is the leadership like for this role? This role reports to Kevin Walters, our Supply Chain Manager. You will join Kevin's growing team of 10 that includes a Warehouse Lead, Planning Lead, and Customs and Logistics Analyst.
