Shipping & Logistics Coordinator

Vickerstock are working in partnership with a global manufacturing business on the appointment of a Shipping & Logistics Coordinator to join their expanding logistics function on a full-time permanent basis.
As the Shipping & Logistics Coordinator, you will perform a range of tasks with the warehouse and shipping teams to coordinate the management of raw materials, and all shipping of finished goods to customers.

Duties will include: Generate cycle counts for warehouse operatives Process cycle count results and investigate inventory variances Perform root cause analysis of inventory discrepancies and trends Lead resolution of issues affecting inventory management Communicate proactively with stakeholders on inventory issues Work independently on inventory tracking and monitoring Book road, sea, and air freight for inbound and outbound shipments Create Packing Lists and Invoices within the ERP system for outbound shipments Coordinate shipment times with output from production Perform accuracy checks of documents supplied for shipping purposes Communicate shipment details with relevant documents to freight providers and relevant stakeholders Experienced needed: Ideally 2 year's experience in both logistics and inventory/stock control Previous experienece in a customs environment Previous ERP/MRP experience Ability to work independently Strong excel skills For a confidential conversation on how Vickerstock can help support you with your next move, get in touch with Michael Irwin today!
