Terms: Full-time, 12-Month Contract, 2 days hybrid available once training and evaluation is completed

An experienced Shipping & Port Operations Coordinator is now required by a global shipping line based in Dublin City Center.
This is a 12-month contract to cover maternity leave and will report directly to the Country Manager.
You will join a small, experienced operations team that ensures vessels berth as per agreements, and that vessels move through UK ports as fast, efficiently and safely as possible.
Key Responsibilities & Duties: Generate forecasts for feeder operatorsSend export feeder work orders to feeder operatorsSend export DGNs to feeder operatorsLiaise with feeder operators on cut-offsUpdate and maintain feeder cut-offs in FISLiaise with Feeder Scheduling Team on maintenance of DPs/RVTsAdhoc maintenance of feeder scheduleActualise feeder scheduleSend VGM reminders before feeder cut-offsGenerate MRN list per feederLiaise with Vessel Balancing on bookings to rollMonitor TSOPS inboxGeneral troubleshooting on emails from GCC / UK team / vendors / customersMinimum Requirements: Strong knowledge in Shipping / Port OperationsStrong Microsoft Office SkillsAbility to work well within a busy teamGood organisational skillsAbility to multi-task and work under strict time pressuresStrong and clear communication skills (fluent English - written and oral)Ability to progress and resolve problems on own initiativeHigh level of accuracy and numeracyFlexible in working hours as may be called to emergencies at short notice from time to timeAbility to work unrestricted by local work permit or visa constraints
