About the role You will be an essential part of our logistics operation, responsible for the safe and efficient movement of trailers within our yard.
Your role is crucial in ensuring that our operations run smoothly and on time, contributing to our reputation for excellence.
You will be responsible for: Safely manoeuvre and park trailers within the yard, ensuring precise positioning for loading and unloading.
Follow all safety protocols and regulations, performing regular inspections to identify and address potential hazards.
Coordinate with warehouse staff, drivers, and supervisors to ensure efficient vehicle movements and operations.
Maintain accurate records of vehicle movements, shunting activities, and any incidents or issues that occur.
About you Our ideal candidate will possess a valid Class 1 license, a strong understanding of warehouse yard operations, and excellent communication skills.
The ability to work effectively within a team is essential.
While previous shunting experience is desirable, it is not a requirement.
