Group Financial Accountant - Galway City About Your New Employer: Our client is a leading Galway based company in the healthcare sector.
They are looking for a qualified Accountant to join their growing finance team.
About Your New Job: Key Responsibilities: Responsibility for completion of month end functions to support the timely and accurate management reporting.
Preparation and analysis of monthly departmental cost reviews.
Preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
Co-ordinate and participate in the drafting of the Group single entity financial statements.
Participate in half year and year end reporting including financial statement preparation.
Preparation of quarterly VAT returns.
Liaise with external auditors and tax advisors to support the delivery of interim and year end audit and tax.
Support the annual and quarterly budgeting process.
What Skills You Will Need: Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) 2+ PQE with relevant industry experience, preferably with Big 4 training.
Strong technical background in US GAAP and IFRS.
Self-motivated and innovative.
Excellent communication with ability to collaborate with senior internal and external stakeholders.
Knowledge of NetSuite/ similar ERP systems.
What's On Offer: Strong Salary Package - €55,000 - €65,000.
