About the Role We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Operations Manager to join our clients team in Cork.
This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, optimizing production processes, driving continuous improvement, and leading a high-performing team to ensure operational excellence and growth.
Key Responsibilities Oversee all aspects of day-to-day manufacturing operations, ensuring production targets, quality, and timelines are met.
Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and optimize workflows.
Lead, mentor, and develop cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
Collaborate closely with senior management to align operational performance with overall business objectives.
Analyze key operational data and metrics, identifying opportunities for improvement and driving actionable results.
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards across the facility.
Manage budgets, resources, and capacity planning to meet customer and business demands.
Drive Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement initiatives to enhance productivity.
Key Requirements Bachelors degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business, or a related field.
Minimum 10+ years of experience in a senior operations, manufacturing, or production management role, ideally within a process, fluid handling, or industrial manufacturing environment.
Proven experience leading teams, managing change, and delivering operational improvements.
Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar process optimization methodologies.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage budgets, resources, and project timelines effectively.
A strategic mindset with a hands-on approach to managing day-to-day operations.
