The Role We are looking for an enthusiastic, results driven individual to lead the SIM Team, within the wider Connectivity Department.
The SIM Team is responsible for delivering and supporting Cubic solutions in the SIM cards and Remote SIM Provisioning technologies, including Over-the-Air (OTA) campaigns; developing proprietary SIM applications; SIM card logistics and forecast; Tier1 and IM vendor management; participation in RFx processes, and a wide range of innovative projects and solutions using state-of-the-art technology.
The ideal candidate must be comfortable leading a high-performance team in a fast paced, flexible environment with a variety of new and ongoing projects.
In this role you will: Lead a high performing team and provide continuous coaching, mentoring and technical guidance to the team Manage the employee growth and performance conversations. Guided by cascaded company goals where you collaboratively agree business and career development goals aligned to performance appraisal process Drive the success of technical scale and strategic roadmaps Research, document and troubleshoot related technical problems Interact with both clients and internal stake holders across varied projects. Continuous interaction with the SIM Development & Innovation team to maintain, support and/or enhance existing solutions/products Be responsible for the management of SIM logistics based on customer forecasts Work with organisation stakeholders, including leadership group, on resolving major incidents and escalations Document and record tasks and activity through Jira or other support tools used by the organization requirements Be accountable for planning activities within the team and for the timely resolution of issues What is in it for you This role offers you the opportunity to build your leadership skills by helping us steer a group of high performing engineers working to exceed the expectations of our clients. Required Skills Minimum of 10 years' relevant professional experience in the SIM industry or in the broader mobile/IT/IoT ecosystem Minimum of 5 years' experience leading a technical team Strong people skills with the ability to influence technical discussions Ability to lead conversations with internal and external customers to better understand requirements and prioritise tasks Good understanding of what a SIM card is: eSIM, iSIM… Understanding of the standard SIM product lifecycle Working knowledge of OTA campaigns, from a functional and an infrastructure point of view.
