Reporting to Lidon Group Director level, this senior leadership position encompasses full responsibility for all aspects of the Store operation and performance.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record delivering solid business growth in a retail environment through excellence in operational procedures and practices combined with strong team motivational and retention capabilities.
Support for the achievement of objectives is available from the Lidon Group support office team.
Key aspects of the role include: Work collaboratively with all stakeholders to optimise the commercial position of the site.
Develop an organisational culture which reflects Lidon Group's core values, such as positive employee relations climate to enhance employee satisfaction.
Foster a positive working environment of continuous improvement to drive business growth.
Lead and inspire the team toward cost-effective delivery of service in a way that meets and exceeds our customers' expectations.
Identify, implement, and promote innovations/projects to enhance service delivery, business efficiencies and customer experience.
Monitor, evaluate and report all risks, financial, operational and commercial, and proactively work collaboratively with support office functions to mitigate/minimise risks.
Develop investment & capex plans, operational budgets, and forecasts.
Support and guide the team to achieve and exceed unit specific and cumulative site specific targets.
Ownership of Quarterly Business Reviews.
Support, encourage and develop the on-site teams to enable them to excel at what they do best.
Management of HR issues ensuring company policies are fully implemented.
Take overall responsibility for all quality, environmental and health & safety issues and ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.

Strong commercial and operational awareness with an ability to diagnose commercial, technical and system challenges.
Proven ability to create and implement comprehensive protocols/procedures to address operational and commercial business challenges/gaps.
Experience of delivering exceptional customer service by self and through others.
Demonstrable record of mitigating business risks Demonstrable record of achieving sales growth that positively impacts bottom line profitability.
English essential - Excellent communication skills including verbal and the written word.
