Site Engineer - Construction Contractor

Job DescriptionOur client is a main buildings contractor working on a wide variety of projects in the commercial, healthcare and educational sectors.You will be working within a well-established team on a variety of prestigious projects.The current workload is exciting and you will be involved at all stages.
This is a great opportunity to be part of an expanding team.As a member of this team, you will have the opportunity to develop and bring added value to your career and gain additional skills with a BIM enabled contractor.Supporting Site Manager/PM in day to day site functionsStrong understanding of quality, safety and environmental standards in executing and development of a projectCoordination of sub contractorsMonitor and control of health and safety standards on siteCarry out site inductions as requiredLiaise with the design team on construction issuesRaise RFIs with the design teamIssue requisitions for materialsMaintain the site diary / daily log activitiesMonitor and control quality / work standards on siteManage concrete quality, taking cubes / slump tests on site & recording resultsMaintain goods received registerRequirementsDegree qualified Engineer5+ years experience (preferably with a main contractor)Strong Setting Out/Levels experienceReinforced concrete works experienceBuilding experience - Commercial/Industrial/EducationalKnowledge of BIM an advantagePackageSalary €50K- 65K with excellent company benefits and a strong order book.
