Site Engineer, Cork

PE Global are delighted to be working with our client, a leading tier 1 Building and Fit Out Contractor, and we are looking for experienced Senior Site Engineers for projects based in the South Dublin region and the Newbridge area. The Senior Site Engineer is responsible for assisting the construction management team in the on-site control of the building elements of projects.

The two projects we are recruiting for at the moment are for a mixed-use development providing 502 residential units in 6 blocks in Tallaght.

The second project is based in Newbridge, Kildare for Diageo's first carbon neutral brewery project valued at €200M.

We are accepting candidates for both projects so let me know if there's a preference of project/location.

The Senior Site Engineer's duties include but are not limited to:

Responsibilities: Supervise setting out engineers. Checks shuttering, steel and other dimensions prior to concrete pours and maintains materials reconciliation files. Check plans and drawings to ensure all calculations are accurate. Liaise with subcontractors, clients and other professionals. Oversee quality control and health and safety on site. Requirements: Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline. 4+ years' experience as a Site Engineer with a Main Contractor. Experience using setting out equipment, for example total station, GPS and laser levels. Knowledge of temporary works coordination. Strong attention to detail and able to work on own initiative.
