Site Engineer

Details of the offer

Role Overview: Our client are a large, Construction company who have a very urgent requirement to hire a Site Engineer for a large residential project in Athlone.
Responsibilities: Lead the on-site execution and supervision of civil engineering projects, ensuring adherence to design specifications, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
Collaborate closely with project stakeholders, including architects, contractors, subcontractors, and regulatory authorities, to facilitate seamless project coordination and communication.
Oversee the implementation of quality control measures and conduct regular inspections to verify compliance with project standards and specifications.
Provide technical guidance and support to project teams, addressing engineering challenges and facilitating innovative solutions.
Prepare and review engineering documentation, including drawings, specifications, and technical reports, to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Monitor project progress and performance against established milestones, budgets, and KPIs, proactively identifying and addressing deviations or obstacles.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred.
Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in civil engineering, with a focus on site supervision and project management.
Deep domain knowledge of civil engineering principles, construction techniques, and materials, with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects.
Proficiency in industry-standard software tools, including AutoCAD and project management software.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to effectively problem-solve and make data-driven decisions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders and build strong working relationships.
Results-driven mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality work on time and within budget.
Flexibility to adapt to evolving project requirements and work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
