Site Engineer - Waterford

SSA Group are seeking a Site Engineer on behalf of a highly reputable Main Building Contractor for a large-scale industrial type project in Waterford. About the company: The company in question have been around for a long time and have a strong portfolio of ongoing and planned projects. You will be based on a new industrial project in Waterford, upon which work will be commencing in the coming weeks.This is a long-term phased development, so there is longevity for the successful applicant. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain long-term employment with one of Irelands most reputable contractors. Your main duties will include, but not be limited to: Maintaining site record such as daily and weekly registers Surveying and setting out using Total Station, GPS Day-to-day supervision of site personnel Promoting and ensuring high standards of Health, Safety and Quality on projects Supervising and managing sub-contractors Assist in the preparation of method statements and risk assessments for construction activities And much more.. To be successful in your application you will possess the following: Degree in Civil Engineering/Construction Management 2+ years site experience, with either a building or civils contractor in Ireland or the UK.
