Site Manager | Cork & Waterford Up to €85k per annum (DOE) Tier 1 Irish Contractor is hiring Site Managers for large-scale, healthcare construction projects in Waterford and Cork. As site manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all on-site construction activities, ensuring that the projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities: Plan, schedule, and coordinate all construction activities on-site to ensure timely completion of the project.Manage daily operations and ensure adherence to project timelines and schedules.Monitor and control project costs to stay within the budget, reporting any discrepancies to the Project Manager.Ensure that all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and in compliance with design specifications, building codes, and regulations.Enforce strict adherence to health and safety regulations on-site to maintain a safe working environment.Liaise with architects, engineers, and other technical consultants to resolve design and technical issues.Work closely with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure the timely delivery of materials and services.Manage site staff, including subcontractors and laborers, ensuring that they are adequately resourced and working efficiently.Maintain accurate records of site activities, including daily logs, progress reports, and any changes to the project scope.Address and resolve any on-site conflicts or disputes quickly and effectively.Key Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.Proven experience as a Site Manager on healthcare construction projects.Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and health and safety regulations.Excellent leadership and organizational skills.Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
