Our client, a well known building contractor, is looking for an experienced Site Manager to join their team in Cork.
The role of the Site Manager would be to oversee the construction of our clients' civil projects, primarily in relation to wastewater and wastewater treatment works. The successful candidate will have experience in the above.
Duties and responsibilities: Supervision of sites, employees, sub-contractors, and suppliers.Management and delivery of the project programme & procurement needs in conjunction with the procurement and QS team.Ensuring the project is delivered as per the agreed scope.Maintenance of accurate documentation on site including full management of the H&S file.Ensuring that all H&S measures are in place to safely deliver any project and maintain the highest standards of H&S management.Managing the communication of the project through the necessary channels.Overall responsibility for managing quality on site and delivering the highest possible standards of quality for all projects.Requirements: 5+ years experience as a Site Manager / Project Manager delivering a range of projects across the civils sector.Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or similar would be highly beneficial.Keen eye for detail to ensure the projects are achieving the quality needed.The ability to ensure the successful delivery of projects including programme management, procurement delivery, all while keeping a firm eye on quality.Always ensuring health and safety is paramount.Ability to work on own initiative.Self-motivated, ambitious, and dedicated.Analytical and decision-making skills.Proficient with MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint and industry-specific software.Excellent written and oral presentation skills.A strong remuneration and benefits package is on offer for the right candidate.
