About the Role We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated No.1 Site Manager to lead the delivery of a medium-sized residential development in South Dublin. This is a hands-on leadership role, where you will oversee all aspects of the project, ensuring its successful completion on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
As the No.1 Site Manager, you will have full responsibility for the site operations and act as the key point of contact for all stakeholders, driving project success through effective management, planning, and coordination.
Key Responsibilities Project Leadership : Take overall responsibility for site operations, ensuring work is carried out in line with project plans, schedules, and safety regulations. Team Coordination : Manage and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site staff to ensure smooth and efficient workflow. Quality Control : Oversee the delivery of work to the highest standards, conducting regular inspections to ensure compliance with specifications and building regulations. Health & Safety : Enforce strict adherence to health and safety protocols, conducting regular toolbox talks and site audits. Planning & Scheduling : Develop and maintain site programs, monitoring progress and taking corrective actions where necessary. Reporting : Provide regular updates on progress, budget status, and any risks or delays to senior management. Requirements Experience : At least 8+ years of experience in site management, with a proven track record in residential construction projects. Leadership Skills : Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively and deliver projects to high standards. Technical Knowledge : Strong understanding of construction processes, building regulations, and health and safety requirements in Ireland. Qualifications : Degree/Diploma in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline is desirable. Certifications : Valid Safe Pass, Manual Handling, and First Aid certification. Communication : Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders effectively.
