Job DescriptionOur client is a leading Irish building contractor working on a broad range of buildings projects in the Commercial, Industrial, Pharmaceutical, Conservation, Fit Outs and Refurbishment, Education, Health, Residential and Retail sectorsThey are seeking to appoint Site Managers to work on buildings projects in Dublin Candidates will be required to demonstrate capability and experience in dealing with challenging projects.
Conduct your work in a safe manner – correct and take responsibility to ensure that all works are carried out to the highest Health and Safety standards.Supervision of the construction on siteAbility to deliver project on time and to perfectionProduce accurate, consistent and professional records, reports and general informationSupervision of the construction on siteMaintaining site diary – recording manpower levels for each sub-contractor and keeping detailed notes of all site activitiesSupport the project manager in delivering the project to the highest of quality & completed on time, within the budgetTo carry out the role of company representation on site and to interface between the company and clientManage and motivate site teamsManage and coordinate both site staff and sub-contractors on siteEnsure work is carried out to the highest of standardsConduct Risk AssessmentsEnsure all processes are being adhered to on a project by project basisEnsuring that end product meets client's expectation in relation to build and finishRequirementsHold relevant construction/engineering qualificationExtensive main contracting background is essentialPrevious experience working on a large-scale construction projectsAbility to work on own initiativeSelf-motivated and hard workerStrong team building skillsAnalytical and decision-making skillsTechnical and practical knowledge of the building industry importantStrong budgeting and financial management skillsExcellent written and oral presentation skillsPackage€70K-€85K negotiable dependent on experience & qualificationsFull time permanent staff role with great career prospects
