Slsc2422 Care Assistant (Intellectual Disability Services) (Supplementary Panel)

Sligo/Leitrim Disability Services operates a model of community living and we currently have over 30 community group homes in areas throughout Sligo and Leitrim.
This is expected to increase in line with the National Policy for Decongregation and Community Integration.

A supplementary panel may be formed as a result of this campaign for Care Assistants (Intellectual Disability Service) Sligo/Leitrim from which current and future, permanent and specified purpose vacancies of full or part-time duration may be filled.

Details of Service Sligo/Leitrim Disability Services provides a wide range of health and personal social services to adults with disabilities.
Services delivered through the model of health and social care include the following:

· Residential placements

· Day Services

· Respite bed nights

Purpose of the Post To assist in the provision of health and social care for adults with an intellectual disability.
The Care Assistant provides direct care in line with the individual's Person Centred Plan.
