My client is a leading Data Centre, committed to delivering excellence in operational safety and security.
We are currently seeking an experienced Environmental, Health & Safety, and Security Executive (EHSSE) to oversee security operations and ensure compliance with EHS standards across two data centres.
This critical role focuses on fostering a safe and secure environment while ensuring alignment with organisational and contractual obligations Main responsibilities include: Ensure compliance with group, client, and local health and safety legislation.
Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies and procedures while conducting regular risk assessments and audits.
Deliver comprehensive training programs for employees and contractors on various safety topics.
Monitor energy usage and emissions to align with corporate sustainability goals and implement initiatives for waste management and water conservation.
Oversee security operations, including access control, incident response, and compliance with security standards.
The ideal candidate will have the following: Strong knowledge of EHS regulations (e.g., OSHA, EPA) and industry-specific safety practices.
Health and Safety Degree or equivalent Minimum of 3-5 years of EHS experience, preferably in a critical environment such as a Data Centre or a critical infrastructure environment Proven ability to design and deliver effective training programs and EHS presentations.
Excellent communication and influencing skills, with a calm demeanour under pressure.
Experience in managing multidisciplinary teams and vendor relationships, with a focus on continuous improvement.
Up to date with EHS and PSSA legislation Excellent communication skills and fluency in English Due to the urgency of this vacancy, it is not possible for our client at this time to consider anyone without the appropriate work permits, visas or sponsorship's already in place.
