Senior HR Manager Reporting to: Managing Director.
Role This is a key role in the Management team, working closely with all members of the Management Team as well as all divisions and departments in their everyday operations.
The role will have an active part in the daily functioning of the business ensuring the required service levels to the operation.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Management of the functions of HR to include the HR Team (HR administrators & HR Generalists along with Recruitment Co Ordinator).
Direct involvement in ER/IR issues and processes such as disciplinary, grievance and other internal investigations, litigations, etc.
(including guiding of the process including writing of outcomes).
Performance Management of the team and other departments as required.
Provision of support and advisory services on all HR related matters to all divisions/departments as well as individual employees Liaising with the companys external advisors such as HR advisory services and professional bodies etc.
Dealing with all matters arising in the course of the complete employee life cycle.
Maintenance of the documentation database, monthly reporting and management reporting Active involvement in redundancy processes, incl.
completion of relevant documentation, consultations, delivery, etc.
Development and implementation of relevant policies, procedures and standards for all divisions and departments, incl.
relevant and timely updates to reflect changes of legislation, business operation and HR best practise.
Management of union issues, negotiations and resolutions.
Issuing of Companywide instructions via internal channels.
Management of the TUPE process and required due diligence.
Managing and implementing of various HR projects.
Other ad hoc duties as required.
Person Requirements: Strong interpersonal skills, incl.
verbal and written communication skills.
At least 5 years relevant work experience and experience in a similar role and/or environment.
Excellent knowledge of Irish employment legislation.
Background working within unionized companies an advantage.
Strong administration skills, i.e.
database management, record keeping.
Resilient with a high level of attention to detail.
Ability to gather and analyse information skilfully.
Flexibility and willingness to learn.
Tact and diplomacy.
Ability to be proactive, use own initiative and work effectively within a pressurised environment.
Understanding of and commitment to principles of confidentiality & GDPR legislation.
Highly computer literate; MS Office suite is a must, knowledge of HRIS desirable.
Professional qualification in HR or CIPD qualification.
