We require a social care manager for a children's residential service in Galway. This is a full-time, permanent post offering an excellent salary and benefits package. It is a brilliant opportunity for a current manager looking for something new or a professional at leadership level looking to take the next step in their career.
Minimum Requirements:BA honors level 8 degree in social care and four years post qualification work experience in children's service only.Or minimum level 7 degree in social care and is enrolled or previously enrolled in the management qualification course with four years post qualification in children's service only.A full clean manual driver's license and access to their own transport.Knowledge of relevant National Standards in Children's Residential Services.Proficient communication skills, IT skills, report writing, and planning skills.Candidates must also have a deep commitment to children's and young people's rights and protection and enjoy working in a dynamic environment.Please note that this role is a hybrid role and would include the possibility of setting up new services across the West of Ireland.
