Description: CPL Healthcare are delighted to announce their partnership with an exciting new Children's Residential Service in Tullow, Carlow.
We are offering an exciting opportunity for Social Care Manager to join our clients' team on a permanent basis and to work as part of a team in providing the necessary care to vulnerable young people within their residential service.Our client works directly with young people in a residential care setting, aiming to provide the highest quality of care to service users, whilst delivering a stable and engaging workplace for its employees.The Social Care Manager role would consist of hours of Monday to Friday 09:00am-17:00pm with the possibility of being on call.
To be considered for the role, interested applicants must meet the following criteria:Have a minimum level 8 qualification in Social Care or relevant equivalentHave a minimum of 5 years' experience working in a Social Care Grade in Children's Residential Services with some experience in a leadership roleHave experience in managing and supervising staffHave strong communication and interpersonal skills and ensuring all trainings are up to dateAbility to work under pressure and have strong leadership and decision-making skillsHave knowledge of child development, trauma-informed care, and safeguarding proceduresHave a working knowledge of the Health Information and Quality Authority (HIQA)A full clean driver's license is a must - both manual and automatic licenses would be consideredThis exciting new opportunity will encapsulate the day-to-day care of young people, but also guide and prepare them for life as they grow in this service – if you want to know how you can be a part of this, get in touch!
