Social Care Worker - Childrens Residential

Cpl Healthcare are currently recruiting Social Care Workers for a Children's Residential Service in South Limerick City. The successful candidate will be based in a community residential setting, caring for children aged up to 18 years. This is a full-time position, working both day and overnight shifts.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Participating in the development and implementation of Care and Placement Plans.Promoting the rights and responsibilities of each child/young person within the centre.Promoting physical, emotional, social, educational, and religious welfare of each young person.Family and other service liaison.Adhering to policies and procedures.Report writing and documentation.Attending regular supervision with the Social Care Leader / Manager.Successful candidates will have: A CORU recognized Social Care qualification.Ideally some experience working with young people or residential experience.Full clean manual driving licence and access to a car.Experience working with challenging behaviors and an understanding of therapeutic interventions.Salary: €38,070 - 53,096.
