Social Care Worker

Care Network Ireland are currently recruiting for Social Care Worker for a full time/permanent position to provide residential and respite care within a staff team for children and adults with an intellectual disability in Galway City and surrounding areas.
  Key Duties: Act as Person in Charge in the absence of the Service Manager.
Responsible for the wellbeing of people supported within the residential facility.
Monitor and record the progress of service users.
Facilitate the development of interpersonal relationships.  Enable confidence and individuality.
Involvement in planning and implementation of specific approaches and programmes designed for service users.  Care for the day to day needs of service users.    Requirements: Degree (minimum level 7) in Applied Social Care.  Previous experience working with people with an intellectual disability or a similar field.  Full current driving license.  Must reside in Ireland.
Must have a valid and current permit to allow you to work in Ireland.
