Excel Healthcare is currently recruiting Social Care Worker in Cork on behalf of Tusla.
This is Agency cover on a Part-time or full-time basis located in Cork City Center.
This Contract is looking mainly for Relief staff who can provide direct care, support, and advocacy for children, young people, and families, ensuring their safety and well-being.
Responsibilities of this Social Care Worker job Create and execute care and placement plans.
Promote well-being and encourage social engagement.
Work directly with 15- to 16-year-old children and young people.
Provide counselling and therapeutic support.
Assist with personal care and offer emotional support.
Facilitate general day-to-day activities.
Communicate with children, families, and other healthcare professionals as needed.
Educate and support professional development.
Manage conflicts and difficult situations professionally.
