Social Care Worker

We are looking for experienced Social Care Workers who are seeking a new challenge. This is a great opportunity to join our well-established clients who specialize in intellectual disability residential services. The role is based in Co. Kilkenny.
This role demands exceptional empathy and dedication to residents, prioritizing their welfare and wellbeing above all else. A high level of professionalism and strict confidentiality regarding residents and staff is essential.
Requirements: Hold a minimum of a Level 7 on the QQI Framework BA in Social Care Studies or equivalent qualification in Health or Social Care.Have 1 year of experience working with vulnerable adults or adults with intellectual disabilities.An understanding of current policy and developments at national and sectoral levels in relation to Social Care within disability services.An ability to follow, evaluate, and contribute to the further development of plans and methods to meet the ongoing needs of individuals supported.Effective interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills.Proficient IT skills relevant to the role, including Microsoft Office Excel, Word, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams.A full driver's license and availability of own car is an essential requirement.Must be CORU registered (or can provide proof of application).Schedule: 12-hour shiftDay shiftMonday to FridayNight shiftWeekend availability
