Excel Healthcare is currently looking for Social Care Workers in Wicklow to join a HSE community-based program that supports individuals with mental health challenges.
This position based in Bray is available on both a part-time and full-time basis.
Responsibilities of this Social Care Worker job Develop and implement care and placement plans.
Encourage well-being and social interaction.
Engage with 15- to 16-year-old children and adolescents who experience mental health difficulties.
Provide counselling and therapeutic assistance.
Offer personal and emotional support.
Oversee daily activities.
Coordinate with children, families, and healthcare professionals as necessary.
Support educational and professional growth.
Address conflicts and difficult situations with professionalism.
Requirements for this Social Care Worker job Level 7 qualifications in social care or equivalent.
Experience working with children is beneficial.
Must be eligible to work in Ireland.
Possession of all necessary certificates.
Skills in patient care, time management, problem-solving, and communication.
Commitment to maintaining high standards and quality service.
