Social Media and Content Specialist Role Overview: We are pleased to announce a vacancy for the position of Social Media and Content Specialist within the Eason Support Office.
We are seeking to recruit a specialist who is up-to-date on the latest social media trends and technologies.
The successful candidate will be a skilled professional responsible for developing and executing social media strategies including the production of high level content to be rolled out across our channels.
Role Synopsis: The successful candidatewillcreate engaging content, optimise company pages, and foster community interaction.
The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable in various social media platforms and utilise analytics to drive customer engagement, website traffic, and revenue growth.
The role responsibilities will include building and executing social media strategies, generating and publishing daily content, optimising company pages on various platforms, planning and co-ordinating paid social campaigns, moderating user-generated content, analysing social data, and collaborating with other departments to manage reputation and coordinate actions.
Primary duties may involve writing social media posts, producing content, analysing data, scheduling posts and running paid advertisements.
TheSocial Media and Content Specialist is responsible for utilising social media to enhance the overall public brand profile.
They will attend store visits, events and more, in order to generate top quality engaging content and help manage events on an ad-hoc basis.
Key Areas of Responsibility: Managing social media channels across all platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, X, Threads, TikTok Creating and producing engaging content to suit each platform Planning and co-ordinating paid social campaigns Managing ad accounts and budget for paid social Identifying earned media marketing opportunities Support creative for cutting edge, world class social media campaigns Periodic qualitative reporting on brands social media properties Creating copy for social media responses Support across the Marketing department where needed Candidate Profile: Degree level qualification in Arts & Humanities, Communications, Marketing, Business or any related field A passion for all things social media related with the ability to adapt to trends quickly Excellent written and verbal communications skills Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and with minimal guidance A creative flair both written and visual Acustomer-oriented individual who is detail-focused, and capable of multitasking effectively Must have great attention to detail Skills: A creative flair both written and visual Must have great attention to detail A passion for all things social media related Benefits: Laptop Meal Allowance / Canteen Paid Holidays Parking Pension Fund
